China and Skype cooperate in a massive surveillance system, yet even though John McCain has spoken out against U.S. corporations helping China with surveillance in the past, he’s silent now, possibly because a top adviser is Meg Whitman, current director and former President and CEO of eBay, owner of Skype and key partner in the surveillance.
